About InstantAppt
Our Mission
We connect people who need appointments with businesses that have availability, using AI. Whether you're looking for a dentist, a haircut, or a vet — just ask, and we'll find an opening and book it for you instantly.
For businesses, we fill empty bookings by making them discoverable through ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI assistants. No subscriptions, no setup fees — businesses only pay when a booking is confirmed.

Daniel Weinshenker — Founder
I'm Daniel, a former IT consultant turned software engineer turned entrepreneur. I live in beautiful Victoria, BC and have a passion for applying my engineering and business background to assisting small businesses.
After graduating with a business degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario I started my career off at an IT services company that helped nurses and other regulated professions with license renewals. From that experience I developed a passion for programming outside of work and decided I wanted to go back to school to become a software engineer. I got a job at Microsoft down in Seattle after school working on the Bing local search relevance team, focusing on restaurant and hotel search relevance. When the pandemic hit in 2020, Uber/DoorDash/GrubHub/etc. all became must-use apps for small restaurants. It was at that moment I realized I could help small businesses take back their agency and I developed a pipeline and model for discovering individual order online experiences established by the small businesses themselves, surfacing them in the Bing search results. This helped businesses reclaim the margins that these large food delivery providers were taking. I got a high from knowing I was doing a small part to help local businesses during the pandemic.
Fast forward 10+ yrs and I've worked in a number of large tech companies from Microsoft to Splunk to DigitalOcean. Now, I'm bringing best practices and tech to small businesses to help them compete in an AI-driven world.
In my personal time, I enjoy playing tennis, riding my gravel bike around many of Victoria's great trails, and I'm hoping to complete a full marathon in 2026!
